Nathalie Tierce is a Los Angeles–based painter whose dark, surreal fables transform human instinct into strange, psychologically charged characters and scenes. Working through distortion, humor, and dream logic, her images explore desire, fear, aggression, and the absurd theater of social life.
Her paintings have been exhibited internationally and are held in museums and private collections across the United States and Europe. Trained across disciplines in theater, film, and visual storytelling, she brings a cinematic and narrative sensibility to her work. Her painted worlds extend into published artist books that pair visual allegory with short, unsettling texts.
